LexPilot automates legal due diligence for corporate and securities transactions. It reads your deal documents, extracts the important details, checks them for problems, and produces a clear report — replacing hours of manual review with minutes of automated analysis.
Document understanding¶
Document classification — automatically recognizes the type of each uploaded file, such as term sheets, stock purchase agreements, board resolutions, articles of incorporation, and subscription agreements.
Text extraction — reads both digital and scanned PDF documents.
Field extraction — pulls the key details out of every document — parties, dates, dollar amounts, valuations, share counts, and more — and records a confidence level for each value.
Multi-agent review¶
Each deal package is reviewed by a team of specialized agents, each responsible for one part of the job:
Lex — sorts and classifies the incoming documents.
Petra — extracts the text and key fields.
Gavel — checks the documents against each other for consistency.
Reese — analyzes the contracts for risks, obligations, and unusual terms.
Portia — checks the deal against regulatory requirements.
Consistency & issue detection¶
LexPilot catches problems early, before they reach closing:
Entity names that don’t match across documents.
Dollar amounts and share counts that disagree.
Conflicting or impossible dates.
Required documents that are missing for the transaction type.
Governance gaps, such as an undersized board.
Every issue is graded by severity — critical, warning, or informational — so the most important items stand out.
Compliance checking¶
More than 50 built-in regulatory rules covering California and Delaware corporate law, SEC Regulation D, California securities law, the HSR Act, and corporate governance best practices.
Rules are applied automatically based on each matter’s transaction type, jurisdiction, and deal value.
Each matter receives an overall compliance score with a clear breakdown by category.
